Previously he taught New Testament at the Faculty of Theology in Cameroon, West Africa, and ministered as a pastor in the Presbyterian Church of New Zealand. Martin is married to Joy, and together they are raising their three children--Jonathan, Sarah, and Hannah.Williams, Joy: - Joy Williams, originally a Korean missionary, has devoted her life to serving across Africa and Asia, blending her nursing expertise with a passion for gospel-centered ministry. Her work in countries such as Cameroon, Thailand, and India cultivated a deep commitment to cross-cultural service and care for the vulnerable. She later studied theology at Laidlaw College in New Zealand and now mentors women at the Reformed Theological College in Australia. Joy and her husband, Martin, are members of the Reformed Presbyterian Church in Australia.
